Owner Builders
It is a requirement under the Queensland Building Services Authority Act 1991, that if you wish to perform or co-ordinate building work on your own property you must obtain an Owner-Builder Permit. The Permit is available from the Building Services Authority (BSA) 3225 2855, your local TAFE or Owner Builder Solutions 1800 777 996.

Just Kits Building Systems have endeavored to supply you the easiest to build, most economical, lowest maintenance dwellings available. Our cottages are available in kit form to be built on a slab, or on a floor system and hot dipped galvanized stumps for both low and highset homes. Almost all systems on the market can be installed by the customer. Indeed producers like Just Kits supply frames in kit form specifically for the do-it-yourself owner builder.
Panels are easily handled and are clearly labeled for assembly, generally with pre-punched electrical and plumbing service holes. Roof trusses are labeled and easily secured to support the wall. Ceiling and roof battens are easily fixed to the trusses.
